Specialist Endodontist
Saving teeth that would otherwise be lost. Providing painless, anxiety-free root canal treatment under microscope across the North West.
All procedures completed under operating microscope — using the latest evidence-based techniques and premium materials for outcomes that last.
Providing a full range of endodontic services — from prevention to complex surgical intervention.
Root canal treatment for both routine and complex cases — including management of open apices, curved canals, narrowed or calcified canals, resorption defects and endodontic anomalies.
Non-surgical retreatment is usually the best option before surgical approaches. This can involve overcoming separated instruments, perforations, and missed, blocked or ledged canals.
The best root canal treatment is no root canal treatment. Using the latest evidence-based materials and techniques to avoid full treatment where appropriate — including deep caries management and Vital Pulp Therapy.
When conventional treatment is insufficient, a surgical approach may be most predictable. This includes micro-apical surgery and restoration of external root resorption defects.
Increasingly common and challenging to diagnose. With thorough assessment and timely treatment, cracked teeth can be saved and retained.
Discolouration from necrotic teeth or leaking root canal fillings can be addressed with whitening — a less destructive alternative to crowns.
Acute pain, swelling, and traumatic dental injuries require prompt attention. Working in collaboration with general dentists to ensure efficient treatment.
A definitive seal in a short timescale maximises long-term success. If requested, this can be provided alongside the root canal treatment itself.

Endodontics is a dental specialty involved with the prevention and treatment of diseases related to the dental pulp (nerve and blood vessels). The purpose of endodontic treatment is to preserve a tooth — removing inflamed or infected pulp tissue damaged by deep decay, infection or cracks. From the appearance, the feel and a functional perspective, there is nothing better than having your own natural tooth.
In addition to their 5 year undergraduate training, a specialist endodontist has undertaken a minimum of 3 years of intensive full-time postgraduate training. Only when they have demonstrated the competence required are they awarded the Royal College of Surgeons accredited qualification. Treatment is carried out under a microscope using instruments and techniques which increase the chances of a successful outcome.
